This is perhaps one of the deeper books I've read. I sincerely believe that reading it will make anyone a better person. It is a novel at the top of Russian style, that is a novel of ideas. I recommend it to everyone. |

This is one of the best books I've read in recent times. The characters are very engaging, and each is unique without becoming a caricature. I also love the way the landscape becomes such a real part of the story. The plains, the frozen Northern lands beyond the Wall, the fertile Southern valleys all become so real I could picture them.
