James andra (och antagligen sista) bok som fokuserar på privatdetektiven Cordelia Gray. Den är i en totalt annorlunda stil än föregångaren. Här tillför ingen figur någonting än att förlänga listan över misstänkta. Allt kretsar kring fallet som James ansträngt sig för att göra så Agatha Christie-krångligt som möjligt. Det blir så menlöst.
