Roz, Charis and Tony were all contemporaries of Zenia's in the sixties. Each of them has been badly damaged by her once; she ha ensnared their sympathy, betrayed their trust, and made off with their men, exploiting their own weaknesses to do so, because, as Antonia says, 'people like Zenia can never step through your doorway unless you invite them'.
Now Zenia is dead, and these three women have all - with much relief - attended her funeral. But suddenly she's aliva again, stalking into the restaurant where they are sharing a delicious lunch. She's back in town, but will her old magic tricks still work?
