A heartbreaking novel but also a novel about survival in a home without parents' love. The story of Tully is 1978-1990. Tully does not even have a freed zone in her home. There is the oncle who does not let her be alone and there is a mother who is beating her hardly. Tully has her friends and one day she leaves home for good. But the nightmares are there and she dares not to sleep. Tully has a hard time choosing her future husband. When she finally does, she realizes she is pregnant with another and it will not be as she thought. I thought this book was good and it was interesting to follow Tully from girl to woman.
