Aimée works at a funeral agency where she arranges the deceased's hair. She finds this much more pleasant than working with complaining living customers. She is being awakened by a man who writes poetry. He has not said that he is working at a funeral agency for animals. When Aimée is being watched by a man where she works, she becomes reluctant. The novel contains humor and seriousness. I found it interesting.
